Overwhleming !
Last day in Chennai.
Now when I came in here, was never sure that this would happen – this heart will feel so attached to this sultry whether, this freind, who is no less than a brother at this point of time, a so very special person & a very good and honest Manager, who has tried to change my life by giving me whatever I could possibly need to do it.
At this point, I would like to say the same old stuff that you would have either read or heard by someone, life goes on – nothing stops… me working here.. my friend working at some place.. the person who could have been more than a soul-mate, who thinks I am a literally crazy or a manic or something very similar to that – Everyone.
I feel like .. a very lonely person at this point of time.. not because I have left some important people, but because I could not do anything for them. Its so so very sad ….
There is one thing that we all have different, for me that is my desperation, and unfortunately thats what was the reason why I lost the possibly most important of my life. The person for whom I could have challenged the whole world, the god and the whole existence. If she was by my side.. I would have really changed the world. I know this sounds crazy or a teenage infatuation.. but this is the way I am. Unfortunately I have to leave it and move on..
When you say that you love someone, and you really mean it- you cant really define that feeling, thats what I feel right now. Not that I had all the bad things or situations in life, I had good people too, but I feel I wanted more.. I had great expectations with myself and especially with people. Having great expectations with people you barely know was also a kind of problem that I have, however, with time I will learn.
I went to all the places which I have felt associated with -may it be the table in City Center Mall, may it be the Elliots Beach, may it be a house where I had never been, where I could have been, unfortunately each day tests me, tests me not to perform, it tests me for life and death.
Sometimes I think about life as a journey, somtimes we think of it as a responsibility, sometimes as some religious rebirth concept- that takes finally us to the eternity. But the fact lies that, in every specific moment, at every speck of time, we are what we are in the moment. These moments when weived together make something like a series of events and that again has a reason.
When we are in Love – these reasons narrow down to just 1 person, that person guides or becomes the central part of all the discussions, meanings and anything possible thing that tells us what life really is.
The True King of Pop – Michael Jackson dies of a suspected Cardiac Arrest. Michael Jackson was a true entertainer – on or off the screen. He has always been in the news sometimes for unworthy Scandals, sometimes for expensive records/videos, sometimes for Plastic Surgery, sometimes his personal life (Wife and Kids), sometimes for his releases etc.
Whatever the case may be, he was truly a prodigy child and a intelligent & sensible businessman, although his recent months gave him quite a lot of financial trouble but like all great people Michael Jackson was planning to fight back with his series of concerts.
Michael Jackson was also actively involved in philanthrophy and was quite a benevolent man.
MJ & Business
MJ was a intelligent businessman, dont believe it, here is what I call proof of what I say:
-In 1980, Jackson secured the highest royalty rate in the music industry: 37% of wholesale album profit.
-He made making record-breaking profits from sales of CDs( his albums) and ‘The Making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller’, a documentary produced by Jackson and John Landis. Funded by MTV, the documentary sold over 350,000 copies in a few months.
-In March 1991, Jackson renewed his contract with Sony for $65 million, a record-breaking deal at the time, displacing Neil Diamond’s renewal contract with Columbia Records….. Now, who do you think would have negotiated for such a high reneal bid? guess it was MJ.
-MJ continually relaunched his big hits, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, which shows he knew how to make money.
-MJ owned Beatles.
MJ & Charity.
I continue to mourn the death of MJ, many are now, beginning to take note of his charitable contributions. MJ was 39th on the list- ‘Most Charities Supported by a Pop Star’, by Guinness Book of World Records, if you would like to, please have a look in Year 2000 Edition of the same. He donated a known amount of $300 Million of his personal wealth over his lifetime, nobody would ever know how much ‘unknown’ charity he did, well, charity is such a thing, you know, you dont need to tell that to people.
Sales of “We are the World,” co-written with Lionel Richie in 1985, raised over $100 million for USA for Africa. Similarly, the proceeds of the “Heal the World” single, and the subsequent tour, were all donated to charity.
Some dick-head may call my MJ a weird looking pet chimp, or King of Scandals, but noone of these people who say such things about him, will ever be able to do so good to so many people around the world, thats for sure.
I have always believed- the Good is always good than Bad, same holds here, MJ may have done some mistakes, being a Star- you are always in lime-light, and you know what MJ always comes clear, atleast for me he does.
You may say, so what if he donated $300 M, he is any way so rich, $300M would be nothing for him, I say – yes $300M may be nothing for him, but its not about what it is for him, its about what that money would have done for the needy, and no matter what you say it takes nothing less than a heart to donate a $.
If I do not mention what I am going to mention, it will be difficult for you to understand the importance of the Charities that MJ did. On May 14, 1984, Jackson was invited to the White House to receive an award presented by American President Ronald Reagan. The award was given for Jackson’s support of charities that helped people overcome alcohol and drug abuse.
